Clutch is a local-first iPhone app. It stores your match coaching history on your
device so you can review patterns over time — without creating an account.
What Clutch stores
- Your player profile, including tennis background and playing style.
- Your pre-match entries, post-match logs, notes, mantra state, and on-device coaching results.
- Your reminder preferences and whether you have dismissed the welcome flow.
All of this is kept locally on your iPhone, in the app's own storage.
How Clutch uses that data
- To generate your home-screen summaries, personal mantra, analytics narrative, and Mind Coach responses.
- To schedule local notifications only when you enable reminders.
- To create a temporary export file only when you choose Export local data.
On-device AI & the one-time model download
Mind Coach's AI runs entirely on your iPhone. The first time you use it, the app downloads a
base AI model once from a public model host (Hugging Face), then works fully offline. That
download is an ordinary file fetch — your profile, logs, notes, and questions are never sent
with it, and never leave your device.
What Clutch does not do
- Clutch does not require an account.
- Clutch does not sync your data to a server.
- Clutch does not include third-party advertising or tracking.
- Clutch does not collect analytics about how you use the app.
Your controls
- Export local data from Profile whenever you want a copy of your data.
- Clear match history or Reset all local data from Profile at any time.
- Turn reminders on or off in Profile, or revoke notification access in iPhone Settings.
Children
Clutch is a general-audience sports app and does not knowingly collect personal information
from anyone — no data leaves the device. If you have questions about a minor's use, contact us below.
